I write and produce stories for nonfiction television and film.

For the past ten years I’ve told stories across a variety of genres in nonfiction television and film. Whether it’s exposing the brutal truth or portraying a compelling narrative, I aim to provide the world with genuine storytelling at its core — lasting human connection.

My own personal story is a reflection of the elusive “American Dream”:

An aspirational, hard-working family desperately trying to navigate their way out of misery and misfortune. The only thing keeping them going is the belief that they can actually overcome it. That we all can. Until reality takes hold.

The realization that many of us are voiceless, helpless, and afraid is too anticlimactic for the tall tale that is the American Dream. But it’s actually the most relevant, captivating part of the story.

Having lived through this despondency and witnessed similar anguish from my peers, my goal with television and film has always been to give voice to the voiceless. To push traditional boundaries and broaden our perspectives so that we can all see the bigger picture.

The power of nonfiction storytelling lies in its inherent empathy. It’s with using this human connection that I hope to improve the lives of the most vulnerable and oppressed among us, and furthermore, benefit society at large.
